Holy Week 2010

 

 

 

Experience Holy with all your senses this year in 3 different services of worship

 

Sunday March 28th at 10:30am we begin Holy week with both Palms and Passion as we read and sing about Jesus triumphant entry into Jerusalem and the betrayal and execution that followed, as told in the Gospel of Luke.

 

Tuesday March 30th at 7:15 pm our NEXT service (Now Experience Xrist Together) will journey with Jesus through scripture, music, and touch. Immerse your senses in the journey

 

Thursday April 1st at 7:00 pm Experience the taste of the Last Supper in a service of Communion, scripture, and music that moves into Darkness of Good Friday and anticipates the Light Easter Morning

 

Friday April 2nd at 10:00 am join an ecumenical group of your neighbors for a unique walk in the footsteps of Christ. Beginning in our Sanctuary, we move around downtown Beaverton to ‘Stations of the Cross’ reflecting on how Christ’s passion for Justice connects with the issues we face today.

 

Saturday April 3rd at10:00 am children 0-12 and their guardians are invited to an Easter Egg Hunt to take place in the Park (foul weather location inside the church)

 

Sunday April 4th at 10:30 am join in our joyful Easter Worship service as we release our Halleluiahs and rejoice in the resurrection.

 

Invite your friends, family, neighbors, those you see in the grocery store every week, and anyone who might join in the experience of Christ’s journey through darkness to reveal God’s Light.
